Dr. Williams conduct human research in cardiometabolic risk by developing phenotype-genotype associations. A focus is determining how dietary salt interacts with genetic predispositions to hypertension, insulin resistance, obesity and other metabolic disorders. The student will help the research team collect information on active human research protocols and work in a large dataset that Dr. Williams co-directs.
