Overview
Jennifer Goldsmith serves as an Instructor at Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health having built a career in healthcare delivery, finance, strategy, and planning in both domestic and global health. She also serves on the leadership team supporting program innovation, student mentorship, as well as competencies and accreditation. She teaches courses including: Foundations of Public Health, Enabling Teams, and Enabling Large Scale Change, an immersion course in case writing, and co-leads the summer immersion program. She also co-teaches the Tufts University undergraduate course, a Practical Introduction to Global Health, and serves as associate faculty at Ariadne Labs.

In addition to her role at HSPH, Ms. Goldsmith consults with organizations including the Boston Public Health Commission, Groundwater Institute, Mass Health Quality Partners, National Sea Change Coalition, Rx Foundation, and the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. She engages in rigorous research and narrative development building compelling cases for health equity.

Ms. Goldsmith worked for seven years as Director of Programs and Administration for the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Paul Farmer, and also as Director of Health Equity Strategy and Implementation in BWH’s Department of Medicine. She previously served as founding Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Planning and Partnerships at Seed Global Health, a global non-profit dedicated to human resources for health capacity-building at the individual, institutional, and national level through sustained collaborative engagement.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Goldsmith served as Director of Strategic Initiatives for Graduate Medical Education at Mass General Brigham, Assistant Dean for Finance and Planning for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University, Director of Strategic Financial Planning at BWH, and Manager for Cardiovascular Services at University of Chicago Hospitals.

Ms. Goldsmith earned a BA from the University of Michigan, MS in Public Health at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and MEd at Boston College.
