My research has focused on the identification and early optimization of compounds (synthetic and medicinally), most significantly for discoveries and translation of medicine from Engineering in Medicine against cancer diseases. I dedicated all my career efforts to development as an organic and medicinal chemist. Throughout my career, I gained experience in various aspects of drug discovery: from hit discovery, to hit-to-lead optimization, to the design and optimization of pre-scale-up syntheses. I have spent ten years working for drug discovery and medicinal chemistry. With a background in drug discovery, I have a strong desire to see scientific innovations translated into successful treatments to benefit patients in need. I have developed a strong experience of working in diversity-oriented synthesis strategy for generating libraries of molecules, carbohydrate chemistry and metal-mediated C-H activation reactions, radical chemistry. Besides that, I handled in vitro screening of compounds and biochemical assays against cancer cell lines and have hand-on experience on in vitro ADME and DMPK studies. I have extensively learned characterization techniques which are required for organic chemistry.
