This project will test the hypothesis that Clonal Hematopoeisis of Indeterminate Potential (CHIP) is associated with bone density, microarchitecture and strength in the Framingham Osteoporosis Study, and is related to bone fracture. The student role in the project will be to help with the data management, analysis, interpretation of results and co-authoring a manuscript. The research will be overseen by the Principal Investigator of an NIH grant funding this work. The data are already collected and now need to be formatted and analyzed for a paper. There are resources for analytic support according to the student's prior experience with data analysis.
