The Arnaout Laboratory for Immunomics uses experiments, mathematics, and machines to decipher the human immunome. We have several wet-lab (bioengineering) and computational projects in the lab that a student, depending on skills and interests, can lead or contribute prominently to. Students are expected to be self-directed, keep a laboratory notebook, be responsible, and have excellent communications skills and either have a strong coding background (in a language like Python) or a strong bioengineering/chemistry/mechanical engineering background (ideally with machine-shop experience) for building and programming machines.
