Overview
Ludovico Messineo, MD, PhD, is a Lead Investigator in sleep and circadian disorders at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He was awarded his MD in 2012 from University of Brescia, Italy. After obtaining a specialization in sleep medicine from the Italian association of sleep medicine (AIMS) in Bologna, at the end of 2016, he became a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital until 2017. He then completed his fellowship in respiratory disease in 2018 at University of Brescia. He has also been awarded a PhD in human physiology and pharmacology at Flinders University in 2022. In 2021 he joined again Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he was fast-track promoted fo Assistant Professor of Medicine from Post-Doctoral Fellow.
His niche research fields include obstructive sleep apnea alternative pharmacological treatment and physiology.
