Overview
Alexander is an internal medicine resident physician at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is committed to promoting global health equity and social justice through clinical care, research, and policy & advocacy. To date, his global health and clinical work has primarily been focused in Latin America (Peru and Mexico) as well as in Latin American immigrant populations residing in the United States. Alexander is particularly interested in the epidemiology of tuberculosis and emerging infectious diseases, the biosocial intersection between mental health and tuberculosis, and community-centered care delivery models and health systems strengthening in diverse settings.
