Based on qualitative research exploring rest, recharge, and respite among parents of children with medical complexity, the current project is co-designing a peer navigation intervention with parents and other community partners. In 2025, we will be holding experience-based co-design (EBCD) meetings of 15 to 20 community partners (including parents and home-based clinicians, as well as experts in pediatric palliative care, pediatric complex care, and health policy) to inform design and refinement of the intervention and the corresponding navigator training curriculum and intervention delivery manual. The student will support coordination of these meetings, documentation of meeting proceedings, and synthesis of meeting findings, as well as data analysis, interpretation, and presentation for conferences and papers.
