Overview

My research focuses on the intersection between environmental changes and human health, particularly through the lens of vector-borne diseases. The vast majority of my work is centered in the Brazilian Amazon, a particularly fragile and vulnerable ecosystem. I am interested in how minute ecological change interacts with human resource demands, and how these exist within the context of global environmental changes like climate change. I aim to achieve a high degree of policy-relevance throughout all of my analyses.
