Overview
I am a resident physician in Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School. I received my MD degree with Honors from the Baylor College of Medicine and my BA in Health Sciences and Health Care Policy Management with Honors at Rice University.

Along with my brother Sevith Rao, I co-founded the Indian Heart Association, also known as the IHA (www.indianheartassociation.org and www.facebook.com/indianheartassociation). My brother and I serve on the board of the Cardiovascular Subcommittee of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Health in India.

I have an interest in health care start-ups, health economics and outcomes, quality metrics, value based imaging, and cardiac health prevention. I am passionate about global health and international outreach. Please email me at srao@mgh.harvard.edu if you would like to collaborate on any future endeavors and connect with me on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/sishir-rao-md/42/134/659

Bibliographic
Publications listed below are automatically derived from MEDLINE/PubMed and other sources, which might result in incorrect or missing publications. Faculty can login to make corrections and additions.
Newest   |   Oldest   |   Most Cited   |   Most Discussed   |   Timeline   |   Field Summary   |   Plain Text
PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
