Overview
Dr. Semenov's research is focused on investigating the epidemiology, economic burden, and societal benefits of medical interventions in the treatment of dermatologic disorders, integrating the patient experience and health-related quality of life into clinical decision making. Additionally, Dr. Semenov's work leverages existing healthcare informatics infrastructure and novel machine learning approaches to develop robust prediction models for treatment selection and disease prognosis in the treatment of metastatic melanoma.

Mentoring
Available: 01/01/00, Expires: 12/31/24

Clinical and translational research fellowship with an emphasis on melanoma epidemiology, cutaneous reactions in setting of immunotherapy, and tumor development in setting of systemic immunomodulator treatment. The group conducts research ranging from conventional epidemiological approaches to utilization of multi-modal machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques, integrating clinical, genomic, and imaging data to predict treatment response, toxicity development, and tumor progression among patients with melanoma as well as those receiving immunotherapies for other advanced malignancies. Interested students will also obtain direct in-depth clinical exposure to general dermatology, oncodermatology, and cutaneous oncology. They will additionally have the opportunity to work with dermatology and oncology faculty across the Harvard hospitals as well as collaborating dermatology faculty from other institutions in the US and Europe.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
