Overview
My research and clinical practice focus on patients with immune-mediated disease of the digestive tract. I have had broad exposure and training in internal medicine and gastroenterology. I have specific expertise and interest in analysis and integration of highly dimensional biological marker datasets and patient level clinical outcomes, specifically immune markers; for which I intend to pursue further formal training and hands-on mentored experience. During my training, I have collaborated with various groups in areas within my interest including global health, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and Clostridioides difficile infection. Key skills acquired include clinical expertise, establishment and maintenance of collaborations, balancing of clinical and research duties, critical data analysis and troubleshooting, construction and revision of research products, among others. This has led to multiple peer reviewed articles, the granting of my faculty position and has laid the groundwork for a period of mentored career development to continue my transition towards being an independent researcher

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
