Overview
I am a Principal Research Scientist in the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and the Director of the NIH-funded Statistical and Data Analysis Center (SDAC) for the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT) Network. I have worked as a senior statistician for perinatal and pediatric HIV research studies for over 25 years, as a member of the SDAC for IMPAACT and its predecessor the Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group (PACTG). I served as the SDAC's Perinatal Section Head from 1995 through 2006, its Associate Director from 2003 through 2010, and have been the SDAC Director since 2010. I have taken the lead statistical role in over 20 perinatal and pediatric HIV clinical trials, including Phase I, II, and III trials and observational studies in the U.S. and internationally, and have served as a member or chair of the independent data and safety monitoring committee for several clinical trials. I have authored or co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications. My statistical research interests and publications focus on methodology for assessing the accuracy of diagnostic and screening tests.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
