Overview
Dr. Brock joined the Brigham and Women's Hospital faculty in 2008 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2012 based on academic and clinical work in her subspecialty field of breast pathology. She has served as Medical Director of the Surgical Pathology Grossing Room since 2012, focusing on resident education, and overseeing laboratory quality control and safety programs. In 2016, she took over departmental responsibility for the Partners in Health (PIH) activities that comprise cases received from Haiti and Rwanda for expert consultation. She has worked voluntarily in low-income countries, including Myanmar, Haiti and Rwanda, focusing on education in breast pathology, and laboratory management. In 2016, she was appointed Breast Fellowship Program Director, and since 2017, has served as Breast Pathology Division Chief overseeing more than 6,700 cases annually, with responsibility for quality control, turn-around time, and personnel competency.
