Overview
Dr. Feldman has been a senior member of the Biostatistics and Research Design Center at Boston Children’s Hospital since 2001. His activities include study design, data analysis, and statistical consulting; writing and review of grant proposals, protocols, and journal articles; and attendant teaching. At the National Institutes of Health (1969-71), MIT Arteriosclerosis Center (1972-75), Harvard School of Public Health (1976-89), and New England Research Institutes (1990-2001), he played a major role in developing methods for biochemical kinetics and biomathematics; laboratory research in pulmonary mechanics and cell biology; epidemiological studies in endocrinology and urology; and community trials for cardiovascular disease prevention. His current work with faculty and trainees is concentrated in the Newborn Medicine Division, encompassing both clinical and laboratory research and including studies of hematology, brain structure, cardiopulmonary dynamics, and clinical care in premature neonates. He also maintains longstanding collaborations with investigators in the Divisions of Endocrinology and Adolescent Medicine, comprising studies of obesity, nutrition, and bone health. Dr. Feldman has been a faculty member since 1998 in the annual American Heart Association Ten-Day Seminar on Epidemiology and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
