Our lab seeks to identify rare disease diagnoses for critically-ill infants and to understand the clinical and psychosocial impact of these diagnoses. The student role will be to evaluate clinical and parent-reported data and to evaluate genomic data to identify rare disease diagnoses.

Our lab seeks to advance genomic diagnostic capabilities for critically-ill neonates and infants, and to understand the clinical and psychosocial value of these diagnoses. The student role in our ongoing project is to evaluate clinical utility data (both from medical records and parent-reported data) following genetic diagnosis. Students may also have an active hand in analysis of genomic data to identify these rare disease diagnoses.
