I am a surgeon scientist with a clinical focus in endoscopic sinonasal and skull base surgery. My research focus is on the role of mucosal barrier function in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory upper airway disease, the development of in vitro and in vivo topical drug delivery models, and surgical wound repair using laser tissue welding.
