My current research is on improving diagnosis and care of pediatric patients with narcolepsy. Projects include 1) studying the effects of disrupted sleep on the daytime function of patients with narcolepsy, 2) development/validation of diagnostic and treatment surveys/questionnaires for narcolepsy. More broadly, we are working on projects that identify sleep biomarkers on nocturnal polysomnograms that can aid in diagnosis of neurological/neurodevelopmental disorders.
