Overview
Bram P. Raphael, M.D. is a graduate of Columbia College and the New York University School of Medicine. He is currently Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He is a pediatric gastroenterologist and nutrition physician at Boston Children's Hospital where he directs the Home Parenteral Nutrition Program, which is the largest such program in the United States of America. He also participates in the Center for Advanced Intestinal Rehabilitation. His research interests include: quality outcomes in home parenteral nutrition, the prevention of community-acquired central venous catheter associated bloodstream infections, the use of intravenous iron at home in children with intestinal failure, growth rates in children receiving parenteral nutrition as well as the prevention and treatment of intestinal failure associated liver disease.
