OpenNotes[login at prompt]
Available: 07/24/17, Expires: 04/30/18

Virtually all encounter notes signed by BIDMC clinicians are available to patients via PatientSite, the online portal. Research questions relate to clinician attitudes and patient uptake of open notes. Students could develop sections of papers based on survey/clinical/administrative data, could participate in qualitative data collection and interpretation, or contribute to outreach to other institutions about the open notes concept, depending on interest.
