Project: Creation of personalizable lifelong learning, clinical decision support platform that will provide a unique dynamic interactive learning environment for medical students, resident, fellows and providers throughout career. Opportunities 1. Participate in literature review, conducting studies to better understand use of technology for medical education, clinical care 2. Select prepare, organize available content e.g. medical school content, clinical content initial focus pediatrics, pediatric emergency medicine, disaster 3. Platform building (if able to program-not required for working on opportunities 2, 3 this project 4. Platform use, usability effectiveness testing Hours flexible. Excellent opportunity explore use of technology in medical education and clinical care and to learn pediatrics, pediatric emergency medicine disaster medicine, gain experience with web-based education and potentially learn web skills. Primary mentor Children’s Hospital Pediatric Emergency Medicine attending physician who developed the project. Will also work with physicians in Radiology and Laboratory Medicine at Children’s Hospital and hospital librarian to generate content. Individuals will have the opportunity to present and potentially publish their work. Ideal candidate is a student interested in pediatrics and web based education. Web/app development expertise is desirable but not required. Most work can be done anywhere.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
