Collapse overview
Dr. Horsky oversees human-computer evaluation and assessment of health information technology systems such as the Longitudinal Medical Record and other clinical information systems within the Partners HealthCare netwok. He designs reproducible processes that employ iterative testing at appropriate stages of development to attain optimal usability characteristics of clinical interfaces that are essential for maximizing interaction speed and minimizing medical error. Prior research includes projects concerned with cognitive aspects of human-computer interaction in healthcare environments and on topics related to the development, implementation and evaluation of health information technology that is effective and safe for patient care.
