Hao Yi is a primary care and public health physician with a passion for global health systems, health management and strategy, and primary care. His public health work, primarily based in Singapore, included roles at the Ministry of Health, where he worked in the areas of biopharmaceutical regulation, infectious disease surveillance systems, and clinical quality. Currently, he is part of the Health Services Research Unit at Singapore General Hospital, focusing on health services research, program evaluation, and implementation science.

In addition to his public health practice, Hao Yi has clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, and general surgery. He integrates his hands-on medical knowledge with his expertise in health systems and management in order to design and implement innovative strategies that improve patient care, enhance clinical outcomes, and build sustainable health delivery systems. His work is driven by a commitment to bridging the gap between frontline healthcare and broader health policies, ensuring that health systems are not only efficient but also responsive to the needs of patients and adaptable to future challenges.
