Overview
Dr. Mong-Wei Lin is a Professor of Surgery at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine, where he also serves as Vice Chair of the School of Medicine. He is the Director of the Thoracic Surgery Ward at National Taiwan University Hospital and holds leadership roles as Director of both the Taiwan Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (TATCS) and the Taiwan Society of Thoracic Surgery (TSTS) in Taiwan.

Dr. Lin completed his thoracic surgery training at National Taiwan University Hospital, with specialized fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University (2010), and Keio University Hospital in Japan (2012). He earned his PhD from the Institute of Pathology at National Taiwan University in 2014. In 2024, Dr. Lin received a formal appointment as Visiting Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. His clinical expertise includes thoracic tumor pathology and minimally invasive thoracic surgery.

His research primarily focuses on the pathology and radiomic studies of early-stage lung cancer.
