Minimally invasive surgery for ovarian cancer: a pilot randomized trial
Role Description: The goal of this study learn which patients are likely to be good candidates for minimally invasive cytoreductive surgery after neoadjuvant chemotherapy for ovarian cancer, and whether a definitive clinical trial to establish the efficacy of this intervention is feasible.
  2. KL2TR001874 (SHIMBO, DAICHI) Jul 1, 2016 - May 31, 2021

    Institutional Career Development Core
Role Description: The goals of this project are to develop a model that can identify ovarian cancer patients who received NACT that are likely to be good candidates for minimally invasive cytoreductive surgery and to evaluate whether it is feasible to conduct a phase III randomized trial comparing minimally invasive versus open cytoreductive surgery after NACT for selected advanced ovarian cancer patients.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
