Alemayehu Hailu is a Health Economist (PhD) with practical research experience in economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness analysis, health benefits package design, health policy, health technology assessment, Markov-modeling, decision-analysis, priority-setting, costing, efficiency analysis, and choice experiment. He has practical teaching experience in Economic Evaluation, Health Economics, Health Policy, Health Equity, and Global Health for more than 10 years at the University of Bergen (Norway) and Addis Ababa University School of Public Health (Ethiopia). He also has practical research experience in monitoring and evaluating various health programs, including impact evaluation. He has also worked on quality improvement of maternal and child health services, sexual and reproductive health services, malaria, HIV/AIDS, TB, cervical cancer, and various noncommunicable disease programs.
