Overview
Jonah Rubin, MD, is a critical care physician and pulmonologist in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center ICU at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rubin earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He completed residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, pulmonary & critical care fellowship at the combined Massachusetts General Hospital/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School program, and a concomitant fellowship in bioethics at the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics.

Dr. Rubin's areas of clinical and academic interest are ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, critical care echocardiography, and clinical ethics. He serves on the ECMO service, the core faculty of the pulmonary & critical care fellowship for critical care ultrasonography, and as a member and consultant on the MGH Optimum Care (Ethics) Committee.
