My research focuses on medical imaging methodology development and its translation to clinics. My research goal is combining deep learning, medical imaging, and data science to further improve diagnosis and treatment monitoring of various diseases, such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. To achieve this, my current research focuses on integrating medical-physics models with deep learning to improve the network robustness, embedding spatial, temporal, and multi-modal priors into the network to boost the network performance, and incorporating the final clinical task into the network training to enhance clinical translation.
