    Daily acute intermittent hypoxia to enhance walking recovery in persons with subacute SCI
    Role Description: This proposal will investigate the efficacy and safety of dAIH to enhance walking recovery in persons with subacute, incomplete SCI. We hypothesize that dAIH alone or with walking practice will improve walking recovery in ambulatory and non-ambulatory persons with subacute SCI without eliciting maladaptive changes. To test this hypothesis, we propose a double-blind, placebo-controlled, block-randomized clinical trial.
