Overview
Dr. Bruno Di Stefano received his BSc and MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Pavia and the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia in 2008. He then moved to the Center for Genomic Regulation in Barcelona where he performed his doctoral studies in the lab of Dr. Thomas Graf from 2010 to 2015. There his work focused on the mechanisms that control transcription factor-induced cell fate change. In 2016, he joined the lab of Dr. Konrad Hochedlinger as an EMBO long-term postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University. His current research aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms that govern cellular plasticity during development and tissue homeostasis, with a focus on epigenetics and post-transcriptional regulation.
