Overview
Bernardo C. Bizzo, MD, PhD, is a trained diagnostic radiologist and a Senior Director at the Mass General Brigham (MGB) AI business, focused on clinical AI activities and its Digital Clinical Research Organization. Dr. Bizzo leads collaborations with industry to develop, validate, and implement AI/ML-based software as a medical device and other clinical AI applications. In the last 8+ years, he has led the co-development and successful FDA clearance of multiple AI products. Dr. Bizzo runs the MGB AI Imaging Governance Committee and oversees the clinical implementation of imaging AI solutions across MGB. He is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, faculty at the MGB Radiology Department, and a Senior Scientist at the American College of Radiology (ACR) Data Science Institute.
