
Overview
Andrew B. Phillips PhD, RN is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Informatics at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, the academic affiliate of the Massachusetts General Hospital. Andy is also a fellow and consultant for the Laboratory for Informatics Complexity and Organizational Study at Columbia University School of Nursing and a Policy Adviser to the Healthcare Association of New York State. Dr. Phillips previously worked as a pediatric ICU staff nurse and served as co-chair of that hospital's nursing quality council. His current research involves the application of complex adaptive system theory to the modeling of chronic disease management and patient behavior.
