Several ongoing research projects developing and/or using machine learning (artificial intelligence) algorithms and tools on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for disease detection, prognosis/outcome prediction, and sub-population clustering and classification. Applications include: characterization of brain disorders, quantification of nutrition's effects on neurodevelopment, understanding the mechanism of radiation-related neurocognitive outcomes in tumor survivors, early detection of psychosis, generic prediction of clinical variables (age, neurocognitive outcomes, ...), etc.

    Find Targets to Improve Neurocognition in Pediatric Brain Tumors Survivors
    Role Description: This study aims to find subjects who are at risk to develop neurocognitive impairment after survival from pediatric brain tumors, and to find neuroanatomic mechanisms that mediate the radiotherapy-outcome relationship. Both are for preparing baseline evidence for future study of interventions and radiotherapy optimizations that aim to improve the neurocognitive outcomes for survivors from pediatric brain tumors.
