Mentoring
Available: 06/11/14, Expires: 09/30/19

Self-insured employers are increasingly focused on improving the health of their workforce and reducing healthcare costs. In more than one way, their interests are interestingly aligned with those in healthcare delivery. Students will work with the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Employer Programs to assess the current employer intervention related to diabetes and to further develop interventions that can be delivered to this population while identifying appropriate outcome measures.

Available: 06/27/17, Expires: 06/27/19

Student will work with the CMO and Project Manager and organize a paper around the ongoing PDSA cycles produced from improving the care delivery model at the Joslin Diabetes Center. The student will also have opportunities to participate in PDSA cycles and mentor the Joslin Care Team on rapid improvement cycles as well as quality improvement projects in general. Dates are flexible.

Evaluation of a diabetes performance improvement initiative in primary care

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
