Overview
I trained and work as a clinical neuroradiologist, which includes interpreting MRI and CT images of the brain, spine, face, and neck. My clinical focus is on diagnostic imaging of pathology in the skull base, face, and neck and image-guided interventions in the face and neck. I also perform image-guided interventions in the spine.

My research aims to improve clinical imaging of the skull base, face, and neck by: identifying causes of heterogeneity in radiologist interpretations and recommendations; determining whether suboptimal interpretations and recommendations can be resolved with imaging improvements; improving targeted high-resolution anatomic imaging times, contrast, and resolution.

I majored in ancient history at Dartmouth College, completed post-baccalaureate premedical studies at Columbia University's School of General Studies, and completed medical school at Brown University's Alpert Medical School with a scholarly concentration in medical technology and innovation. I am currently completing a master in public health degree at Harvard University's T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

I completed diagnostic radiology residency at Brigham & Women's Hospital and also my neuroradiology fellowship at Brigham & Women's Hospital.

Between earning my undergraduate degree and starting medical school, I worked for 6 years as a business analyst at a corporate insurance brokerage/risk management firm.

I am actively engaged in research in the following areas:

- Efficacy and implementation of advanced/novel MRI sequences
- Optimization of clinical MRI protocols
- Radiologist reporting and recommendation quality
- Imaging of cancers and cancer-related issues in the head and neck and brain

Previous interests of less active interest at this time include:

- Neuroimaging findings in concussion and chronic traumatic encephalopathy
- Percutaneous image-guided interventions in the head and neck and spine
