Overview

Mentoring
Available: 10/01/21, Expires: 12/31/23

I work with the Center for Global Cancer Medicine at Dana-Farber. We support cancer programs in Rwanda and Haiti, in collaboration with Partners in Health. We have a variety of projects with varying timelines. Projects may entail in-country experiences to assist with data collection; database analyses; working on review articles; and systematic analyses. We also have opportunities that are based in Boston and can mentor trainees on self-directed projects. Ideal minimum commitment from trainee is 8 weeks for international projects. There is some flexibility for longitudinal projects based in Boston. We have also successfully supported students and trainees to apply for international year-long training grants like Fogarty and Fulbright awards. Ideal candidates have a skill set or are willing to learn/develop skills in any of these domains: database management, survey design and development, data analyses including regression, academic writing, GIS/spatial analyses, costing analyses, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses.

Bibliographic
Publications listed below are automatically derived from MEDLINE/PubMed and other sources, which might result in incorrect or missing publications. Faculty can login to make corrections and additions.
Newest   |   Oldest   |   Most Cited   |   Most Discussed   |   Timeline   |   Field Summary   |   Plain Text
PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
