I am a pediatric neurologist in the Neurology department at Boston Children's Hospital. I develop and apply computational methods using graph theory and information theory to identify changes in EEG data in children with tuberous sclerosis complex in order to identify abnormal brain activity and neural networks that anticipate the development of epilepsy. This may lead to opportunities to treat with disease-modifying agents in children at high risk of developing epilepsy prior to the development of clinical seizures. I am also involved in several clinical trials in tuberous sclerosis complex and related disorders. Clinically, I see patients in the Boston Children's Hospital Autism Spectrum Center and Multidisciplinary Tuberous Sclerosis Program.
