The PeRInatal Substance use research and advocacy team at Mass General (PRISM) is looking to recruit a medical student or graduate student interested in working with a multidisciplinary team of pediatricians, family medicine physicians, obstetricians, addiction medicine specialists and psychiatrists who care for pregnant, parenting, and postpartum people and their children affected by substance use disorder. We are looking for a student during the 2025-2026 academic year who would help to lead an evaluation of policy changes in toxicology testing and child protection system reporting at MGB-affiliated birthing hospitals. In addition to leading this project, students would have the opportunity to be part of other PRISM projects and shadow in the HOPE clinic, a multidisciplinary clinic that cares for families impacted by addiction at MGH. Experience with simple coding and data analysis helpful but not required.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
