Overview
Courtney Yuen, Ph.D, is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine and an Associate Epidemiologist in the Division of Global Health Equity at the Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Dr. Yuen focuses on implementation research to improve the diagnosis and prevention of tuberculosis. She has worked with programs in the United States, Kenya, and Peru to implement and measure the impact of tuberculosis case-finding and preventive therapy interventions. In addition, she has contributed to several key epidemiologic estimates that improve our understanding of the global epidemiology of pediatric tuberculosis. Dr. Yuen previously worked in the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
