Age of Onset

"Age of Onset" is a descriptor in the National Library of Medicine's controlled vocabulary thesaurus, MeSH (Medical Subject Headings). Descriptors are arranged in a hierarchical structure, which enables searching at various levels of specificity.

The age or period of life at which a disease or the initial symptoms or manifestations of a disease appear in an individual.
