Overview
Dr. Tyler Berzin is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. At BIDMC, he maintains a full-time clinical practice in interventional endoscopy. He has authored over 175 articles and book chapters, and his work has been featured in Gut, Lancet, Nature BME, and NEJM. Dr. Berzin's current research efforts focus on applications of artificial intelligence in GI endoscopy. He is a founding member of the ASGE AI Task Force. Dr. Berzin routinely lectures nationally and internationally on the role of AI in gastroenterology and has presented for various national organizations and agencies including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. At Harvard Medical School and BIDMC, Dr. Berzin has been the recipient of numerous clinical and classroom teaching awards.
