Available: 09/03/12, Expires: 07/01/14
The Safety Net Collaborative is a partnership among Cambridge Health Alliance, the Cambridge Police and Cambridge schools and after-schools designed to identify at-risk youth in the community and link them to appropriate services and supports. For more information:

The collaborative is not in its 5th year and stakeholders are starting to design outcome research. There is a role for a medical student to analyze outcome data to answer whether Safety Net is succeeding in promoting mental health and reducing juvenile delinquency. Specific data can be analyzed in the following areas: delinquency, mental health, and a violence prevention program unique to Safety Net: "Fight Navigator."
