Ocular complications due to the expansion of periorbital adipose is a common feature of Graves disease. The goal of this project is to understand what is unique about the periorbital adipose depot that makes it vulnerable in this disease. The study involves immunohistochemistry and tissue culture using specimens taken during surgeries.
