 Overview
 overview
RESEARCH:
My research investigates adrenal disorders and how adrenal hormones influence cardiovascular disease in humans. I conduct patient oriented studies evaluating:

1) The etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of adrenal disorders, including: adrenal adenomas, adrenal carcinomas, pheochromocytoma-paraganglioma syndromes, hyperaldosteronsim, Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease, adrenal insufficiency.
2) The interactions between adrenal hormones and calcium-regulatory hormones, and how they influence cardiovascular risk.

CLINICAL:
I am the Co-Director of the Center for Adrenal Disorders where I see patients with adrenal disorders (http://tinyurl.com/bwhadrenalcenter).
