 Mentoring
 current student opportunities
Available: 10/01/13, Expires: 10/01/14

Development of a safe and effective HIV/AIDS vaccine is one of the greatest biomedical challenges of our time. To date, one HIV vaccine candidate has shown partial efficacy in humans, and additional promising vaccine candidates are in various stages of development. The student will perform key laboratory assays to assess the immunogenicity of novel HIV vaccine candidates in preclinical and/or clinical studies.

Available: 09/01/11, Expires: 08/31/15

The development of a safe and effective vaccine is critical for ending the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Novel vector-based and protein-based vaccine candidates will be required. The student will work to develop and to assess novel vaccine technologies as potential HIV/AIDS vaccine candidates in preclinical studies.
